手芸作家・藤田育代が羊毛フェルト画で描いた絵本『やさしい森』の原画12点とテキストの展示。
13年間共に暮らしたうさぎが主人公の絵本『やさしい森』は、羊毛フェルトをメインに、毛糸、ビーズなどを使用して手芸の手法でつくられた、半立体の平面作品です。
新作のうさぎのぬいぐるみ工房「Bunny’s Toy Factory」を含む、立体作品の展示も同時に行います。
愛情に溢れたあたたかみのある作品をぜひご高覧下さい。
12 Needle Felt Paintings by Ikuyo Fujita
Ikuyo Fujita, a needle felt artist, exhibits 12 artworks from her new picture book, Yasashi-Mori (やさしい森, meaning: Kind neighbors in a forest in Japanese)
Needle felt art is sculpture-like art. Fujita invented “needle felt painting”:she uses felt, wool and beads and makes realistic 3D like animal art on canvas.
Her picture book, Yasashi-Mori, is a heartwarming story of a little rabbit’s adventure and friendship in a forest. The exhibition displays the original 12 artworks along with the story.
Ikuyo Fujita has done art shows in New York, Paris, Portugal, and Switzerland.
On this art-show, besides the picture-book arts, you will see Fujita’s latest artwork, “Bunny’s Toy Factory” and her other arts.
